Tara's love for interior design began in 2001. As a teenager, her parents were building a house and she became fascinated by the design process and loved to assist her mom with color and material selections. She honed her skills reading blueprints at an early age. After the home was completed, Tara wanted to continue her love of color and design by painting her bedroom walls a different color. The fun part was looking through the color samples and beautiful hues. The end result was this beautiful shade of periwinkle, which fit her mood and personality perfectly. That was the start of her journey into the interior design field, and she never looked back.
Her design career began with an internship at a design firm in Destin, FL. Shortly after, Tara received her AA Degree locally, followed by receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the Academy of Design in Tampa, FL. Her first job out of college was at a commercial architecture firm designing commercial kitchens on Auto-CAD and providing their construction blueprints.
In 2012, Tara moved back to the Florida Panhandle to be closer to her family. She has been given the privilege of being able to pursue her love and passion of design in Navarre and along the Gulf Coast, with her main focus on helping her community.
In her free time, Tara enjoys going to the beach and the spa, loves reading and spending quality time with her family, and tending to her outdoor garden.
